Dominic F. Gervasio

Don Gervasio earned the B. S. in Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University and the M. S. and Ph. D. in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University. Don’s research interest at the University of Arizona centers on electrochemistry, including: fuel cells, proton conductors, electrocatalysis, electrosynthesis, energy storage and heterogeneous catalysis.  Don has authored dozens of papers and patents in power and energy technology and was awarded the Arizona Technology Ventures Innovator of the Year Award for 2007. Don was elected to the ST Microelectronics Company’s Technology Council, 2007-2010 and the Elsevier Editorial Board for the Journal of Power Sources 2007-2010. Don has been the Chairman Arizona Section of the Electrochemical Society (ECS) from 2001-present.
